Robert Hopper will be the next person featured on Chautauqua People.
The program will air at 1:30 and 7:30 PM each day beginning on July 11 with the last airing on July 17.
Robert Hopper, a leader of several Chautauqua groups, wears many hats. After retiring from more than three decades working for the State Department in Washington, D.C. and overseas in London, Rome and Mexico, he and his wife visited Chautauqua and immediately fell in love with the institution's many offerings.
An antique dealer based in Northern Virginia who is active in the Manuscript Society, an international organization, Bob also is a science-guy who helped to create the Science Group within the Chautauqua Literary and Scientific Circle (CLSC). He's also active with the Chautauqua Archives and the Universal Unitarian Congregation.
Someone who is very interested in photography and the arts, Bob is a volunteer with the Visual Arts at Chautauqua, and the Chautauqua Foundation.
Hopper will be interviewed by Chautauqua People Host Ira Cooperman.
