Grant and Margie Cooper will be the next people interviewed on Chautauqua People.
The program will air at 1:30 and 7:30 PM each day beginning on September 13 with the last airing on September 19.
Grant Cooper is artistic director and conductor of the West VA Symphony Orchestra since 2001, Grant is also a composer. As a well know conductor, he often leads ballet performances of the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra, is the artistic director of the Bach and Beyond Music Festival in Fredonia, and is the resident conductor of the Eastern Music Festival in Greensboro, N.C.
Margie Cooper is a professional violinist and violist, Margie performs regularly with the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra and the West VA Symphony. She is in demand as a violin teacher and as a chamber music performer. Married to conductor Grant Cooper, she is a member of the music faculty of the West VA University.
Coopers will be interviewed by Ira Cooperman.
