Senior Report with Reed Powers
This year, Senior Report produced 52 brand new shows. Of those shows, there was 47 individual guests of, some of which appearing for the first time. Noteworthy guests this year included both candidates for County Executive, Ron Johnson (D) and Vince Horrigan (R), Cathy Young (R), Andy Goodell (R) and 2014 congressional candidate Martha Robertson. New faces included, but were not limited to Maureen Fortney, who talked about homeschooling, Jim Powers, who gave two great shows on cooking at home for seniors and Chris Flanders, who was joined by Peachy Wagner who talked about sailing the oceans. 2014 is gearing up to be another great year for Senior Report. Destination Chautauqua County
This year we added 4 new shows to our archives. From the 2013 Easter Carival at the Safety Village in Ashville to "Times of Your Life" with Jim Roselle on the Ferry, 2013 provided some new and exciting shows for Destination Chautauqua County. We also added the Town of North Harmony Veteran's Memorial Fundraising Pig Roast and the 4th Annual Jack Carlson Lawn Mower Poker Run. 2013 July 4th Parade
We once again provided coverage of the 4th of July Parade. This year, unlike last year (2012) we were able to cover the entire parade (2012 had the parade rained out 40 minutes into the production.). Also new in 2013, we provided Live coverage during the parade to most of Chautauqua County. Live coverage aired on Access Channel 5, Fredonia Access 5 and Jamestown Channel 19. A "pre-show" program was filmed before the parade and aired as part of the replayed coverage. It was entitled "Behind the Scenes of the 2013 Chautauqua County 4th of July Parade with John "Doc" Hamels". A 'Post-show" program that was made by Jeff Zook, entitled "Fun & Fireworks @ Lakeside Park" was aired following the parade during replayed coverage. Election Coverage
New to 2013, we provided Live and Replay coverage of two debates, filmed right at the Access Channel 5 studios. First, on October 12 we filmed Ed Carutis (D) and Dave Himelein (R), both contenders for the new District 18 in the Chaut. Co. Legislature. The following week, October 19 we filed the County Executive debate between Ron Johnson (D) and Vince Horrigan (R). Both were a huge success. Chautauqua People
A new show in 2013: Chautauqua People features interesting people from Chautauqua Institution, discussing their work outside & within the Institution. Chautauqua People is produced by John Viehe. John interviews the guests and is a member of the Chautauqua Institution Board of Trustees. Dr. Viehe teaches psychology at Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC during the academic year. Chuck brought us the Portland Bicentennial's First Meeting Re-enactment and a three part series on Homeowner Education Workshop; Improved Wastewater Management for Lakeshore Communities.

Jeff Zook brought us the 2013 Chautauqua Leadership Leader of the Year Dinner, a two part series on Who is doing what in Chautauqua County, a 2 Part series on the Law and Medicare Summit in Jamestown and also the Aquatic Vegetation Meeting.
Jeff also produced "Fun & Fireworks @ Lakeside Park", aired as part of the 2013 July 4th Parade Coverage.

Shows by John Viehe
John Viehe brought us Chautauqua People, but he also produced two shows with addresses from Tom Cherry and Sam Teresi addressing the Chautauqua Property Owners Association.
Other Shows
In 2013, we also welcome shows from SUNY Fredonia and Mark Kiyak. He allowed us to air the F-Word and a show called Dialogues, both which are entirely made by students in the TV production classes at SUNY Fredonia.
We also saw a slew of shows from Snowshoe Films again. Roy & Karen brought us information on the County Home, Fracking and filmed the forum that was held for candidates at the Prendergast Library.
Last, but not least is two shows from WNED. They allowed us to air their Chautauqua Season preview and their documentary entitled "Hidden in the Hills."

2013: Changes to Cable Lineup
Finally, 2013 brought about changes to the cable lineup due to Time Warner removing all PEG stations (like Access Channel 5) from Analog (plugged directly into an older TV) in favor of an all digital distribution (cable boxes).
